Dan Martin BA (Hons)
Managing Director | Senior Head Coach
Dan is the director and the founder of Coach4U, alongside the day to day role of coaching co-ordinator heading the coaching programmes at the company.
Having had to stop playing sport at an early age due to persistent injuries, Dan went into coaching to make a difference to others and to support and develop their journeys.
Dan continued his education through to University, graduating from Southampton Solent University with BA Honours in Football Studies. He holds qualifications in both football and multiple other sports, and works hard with an ethos through personal-approach development to ensure individuals achieve whether that's for; fun, learning, development or excelling.
Dan has vast experience working with children and sport for over the 15 years and 21 years including playing, combining; club football coaching from grassroots to academy, Holiday activities and PE & school provisions. He has learnt knowledge and skills from the experiences he has gained in the professional game, in order to enhance all the clients working within the company.

Matthew Charters BA (Hons)
Coach

Matt started in February 2022 and has undertaken roles from overseeing all of the back office elements of making Coach4U work to delivering coaching programmes..
Matt comes with a wealth of experience having been involved in administrating football and other sporting organisations for many years. He has run grassroots sports clubs as well as leagues and representative level teams, and is still actively involved in sports at many levels.
Alongside his role with Coach4U Matt is involved in several charities providing support for families affected by disability and SEN.
Whilst the majority of his time will spent in the office, Matt is also a Level 2 qualified coach with over 20 years of coaching experience, so he steps in to help on the pitch where needed.

Chloe Andrews
Lead Coach
(Casual)
Chloe recently joined us this summer (2024) to support the growth and delivery of provision within the company, specifically football.
She comes from a football playing background and also plays Beach Soccer. Her younger siblings who she also coaches within their grassroots set-up has enabled her to develop the skills set of working with children and the responsibilities that come with it.
Chloe continues to develop herself as she puts herself through University at one of the highest prestigious sports universities in Loughborough.
We look forward to watching her flourish and continuing to work with us for time to come.

Jamie Rice
Lead Coach

Jamie was introduced to the company through our partnership with Athletico Romsey in 2023. Since then he has shown us to be a valuable and reliable member of staff with vast knowledge of both the business world and the sports industry. His role with us is a casual role with his full time role remaining his primary focus.
Jamie has worked within many programmes for the company from Soccer School to events within the community and widespread across the wider company.
In the hours he is not working he is a devoted dad involved with his child's football team, again coaching or managing in the sport he loves.

Hugo Coquet
Junior Lead Coach
Hugo has been known to the company since his grassroots youth playing time and even then at such a young age he displayed his confidence, leadership and strong knowledge.
His background is in football but he also has a strong passion for many other sports and interests.
Hugo started with us supporting events and assisting with projects that the company were delivering and now has shown his value to the company to move on to leading our YoungStars programme under the leadership of other senior coaches.
Hugo has shown himself to be a bright coach with huge potential to continue his development as he grows further.

Jay Tribbeck
Junior Lead Coach
Jay has been involved in sport specifically football almost his whole life and comes from a football family having two younger brothers and a sister who all play football.
Jay is currently completing a college course before moving into full time employment. He is currently supporting the delivery of our Youth Options programme working with 11-18 year olds in engaging the community in activity and sports.
He has also assisted our work in the community at events including football tournaments and school fetes and fairs.
