Quick Fire FAQs
How do you manage dietary requirements & allergies?
We will take any dietary requirements once your guest list is confirmed. Any allergies are taken into consideration avoiding cross-contamination using separate areas, serving equipment and hygienically clean containers. We maintain clear signage on display when operating.
What does your presentation typically look like?
We aim to cater for each event to match theme and tone. Layout can be set to a horse-shoe, flat line or L-shape presentation. We typically use neutral colours which can be adjusted. We use decorated tables, units or a sweet cart for sweets. For candy floss and popcorn we use our purpose built event station. While our chocolate fondue is served from covered & decorated tables.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your booking can be cancelled up to one week in advance of the event date.
In emergency situations where you have to move the date, providing we are available we will move your date with no fees lost.
Are you qualified, licensed & insured?
Yes. We are fully covered. We have public & employers liability insurance up to £10 million. We hold a 5* Hygiene rating. All of our staff hold a minimum of a Level 2 food hygiene & safety certificate All of our services are risk assessed. All equipment has been PAT tested with certification.
How far in advance do we need to book your services?
We usually ask for a minimum of 1-month. Anything shorter than 1-month will be subject to availability and package dependant. While we can take bookings up to a year in advanced.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests?
No. We do not have a minimum as time and product will be catered for in the hire price. There is no maximum as long as we know numbers in advance and time and/or number is agreed.
What's included in the hire?
Your hire fee is all inclusive of; administration, staffing the event, travel, set up, delivery & pack down. This also includes all products & ingredients.
Who will be our main point of contact on the day of the event?
Upon making a booking with us, we will be in touch with contact details for your co-ordinator's.
Can you cater for indoor and outdoor events?
Absolutely. Our services cater for both indoor and outdoor events.
What is your deposit and payment schedule?
We require a non-refundable booking fee of 50% upon booking to lock in the date. Then the remaining balance should be made in the week before the event.
How much space do you require and do you require power?
This is dependant on what services are booked but typically use a 2m x 2m space. But we can adapt to bigger or smaller depending on services & layout.
What time will your team arrive for set-up & when does pack-down happen?
Our procedure typically includes arriving 1 hour before the start time to set-up our stations and pack-down starts at the end time agreed. These can be adapted on request.
